Gotta have windows brah. Drive/get stuff in and out of one at night and you'll hate not having them

How do the windows in the side help with getting things in and out at night?

I believe he was attempting to make 2 separate points on that one. 1) getting stuff in and out because they are easily opened or removed and 2) driving at night. Difference between driving a panel van or a church van at night. Having the windows makes it a lot easier to see around, especially in traffic.

I think #2 is only really an issue on the regular cab. The double canband access cab have back side windows. I can't turn my head backward enough to see out of a window on the side my topper.

I guess that shows different driving styles, because I feel like I am constantly looking out mine. But I sm pretty much sitting in the back seat while I driving so I guess they act as the rear doors would for most people. Hadn't really given it much thought.

Haha good point. I'm pretty short so I'm in front of the rear windows.

One of the things i hated about my cap, was that the windows were so tinted, couldn't really see anything behind me at night unless i used my side mirrors. And if it was raining hard, fahgetaboutit

I thought we were comparing the Softopper without windows to a Bestop Supertop with windows. You can still roll up the side of the Softopper to let more light in.

I've actually stopped at a stop sign and caught myself looking both ways out of the rear windows. Then realizing that I should probably lean forward a bit.

I don't think anyone else even took that option. I know I didn't. I was solely comparing windows in to sides down... hmmm.

The Softopper still has a front and back window to see out of.

No gangsta lean for me. And the kid sits behind the passenger seat. Only way he is fitting.
