Install was nice and easy, took me about 2 hrs to complete. Grinding the air valve to clear the headers took up some time. Overall I'm pleased with the LCEs, you can definitely feel a difference especially @ higher rpm. I think I actually leaned back in my seat ever so slightly. Looking forward to see what the CAI and exhaust will do whenever I get it

Glad I ain't the only one that does that and feel the same way. I always wave at other taco's mainly who are modded and majority of the time get a wave back.

Alright fellers, I think I'm going to sell it. Yes it has a few quirks but I just wanna get rid of it. Probably will replace fender, lights and the hitch(for safety reasons. Doesn't have a hole to put a pin through) if you are interested or know anybody that is, holler at me. Throw an offer at me too.

Changed the cabin air filter. AC was making a bit of a ticking noise when on low air flow, out with the clogged up old one and in with a new one. Now it runs real quiet like it should and a bit cooler now.

same thing happened to me, and i did the same thing and had the same results.....and then it started making the ticking again, now it ticks all the time and now i need to do this

No!! Well I didn't run the truck too long or drive anywhere, so it may not be fixed yet? It makes a faint ticking noise when I turn the AC on low air flow, when the AC is blowing max air flow it doesn't make any sounds. Hopefully it doesn't resume making that noise like your truck has.

im sorry to inform you that this is the exact thing that happened to mine.
soon it'll start sticking and you'll have to physically abuse it to get it to turn.
the best part is that it will happen on the hottest day...when you've just tracked across the whole parking lot at work and can imagine the cold AC blowing in your hair as you turn on the engine

Got back from being up in Syracuse NY for the weekend, visiting my sis and her kiddos, and had these goodies waiting for me!

Bed step thanks to @kyleTRDtaco12 for selling and shipping it to me. And UltraGauge thanks to the GB set up by @Bennett707. Now just have to put both things on.

    20160731_200201.jpg

Also, on Saturday before heading up to Cuse, went to the dealership to get my free oil change, and in the tire rotation they said my rotors are warped or some shit like that. Good part is they are covered until 36k so I get them swapped. Bad part is I have to pay for the brakes since they said they don't put on the old brakes on new rotors because of what's wrong with them. Bastards!

Also told me my cabin air filter will be needing changing soon. They charge $45 to do it. FUCK THAT! I'll buy it and do it myself. Been doing some research on the filters and found a bunch. Which one(s) did everyone go with and/or suggests?

If they can't reuse the the pads because the warped rotors(that are covered)screwed them up. They should also have to replace the pads. I would call another dealer and ask them.

Thank you sir for the input! Saw a lot of different filters, and thought about just sticking with plain OEM as well.

Thanks for the tip! Going to do some calling and bugging tomorrow then, about that.
