Took the truck in for a front end alignment.. It... was interesting.

So, phone call comes in, I'm expecting it to be done, dude finds the bolt on both control arms for the ball joint about 2 threads away from completely falling off. He's dumbfounded as to just how lucky I was that they hadn't. Then he goes into the lug nut and stud and striped and my heart rate proceeds to go through the roof.

All in all, the truck is up and running, and the alignment came in better then my last one.
Here's the disasters waiting to happen:

    And the report:

So, priority now is to get a new stud put on the brand new hub bearings, since the lug nut destroyed it. Last time I know that the tire came of the truck prior to last weekend, was when Toyota had it for the frame replacement. (Que my level of pissed off escalating).

Second priority, pushing everything else down the list, is finding a new set of wheels. The lugs are a pain in the ass to get off, and impossible unless you have a thin walled socket. So if I get a flat, I'm royally screwed.

So, recommendations for wheels? Looking for something all black, preferably matte, for 275/70/17 ( I haven't decided on going a size larger yet or not..I've already cut a bit off the truck for what I have.)

*sigh* I have no idea. But I checked the other day, cause the rattle was worse, didn't even see the bolt had dropped, I was looking at everything except that.

Better I guess, I drove it home and parked it.

On top of the bill for the alignment and extra work, my truck insurance just came in. soooo. yea. I'm gonna go drink a bottle of whiskey and figure out how I'm gonna do all this shit in the next week.

Drove down to Philly. Got off the exit to go into center city.... Bye bye breaks. Down hill at 45mph making a right, always fun. Friend following behind me saw a lot of fluid thought it was AC condensation.

Made it ... Idk, up and over about 5-10 blocks and parked it.

Thankfully a friend works for a tow company. I owe $40.00 for the gas for the truck. Vs 150.00 or my brother calling triple A from the jersey shore. He got me home, and I had a friend follow me to the shop another fire company guy owns.

Not sure.... It was a show trying to get under the truck, deal with idiot in the parking booth, and yea.

There's a 10mm Bilt missing from some where. Guy who towed my truck took a quick look.

The only thing I see missing is the sway bar. I presume that's on purpose.
