Best Floor Mats? Weathertech? Husky Liner?

Just a heads up, the Husky Liners come with a factory Lifetime warranty. So if you wear a hole in them through use of the clutch pedal, they should replace them for free per their warranty.

I have the Husky X-act Fit mats and this is also the only issue I have with them. They don't go very far up the transmission tunnel (only about 2-3") and when you rest your feet on the mats, they tend to crease where that photo shows and leave a gap that grit can get behind.

Other than that, I highly recommend them. They look great, feel great, and offer excellent overall coverage. Also washing them is a breeze: a stiff brush with a little bit of water and dish washing liquid will have them literally looking like brand new.

Also as a side note, mine actually do have holes for them to lock in to the factory floorboards.

 

I would say you cant go "wrong"...

I have Weathertech and love em. However, I got thwm cuz I have always had them. If i would have debated or researched a tad perhaps i would have tried Husky. It also worked that where I bought my Tacoma they were selling any front n back set 25% off. Not an inflated price that is then reduced. It was literally 25% off the price on Weathertechs site.

 

I have had both, husky and weather techs and they both worked good and my feet didn't care.

BOOM!. i ordered them and they were at my door step the very next day and the shipping was free. i am extremely happy with these floor mats. i went play in the mud all weekend and all i had to do was take them out, hit them with the hose and slap them back in and thats it. they are well worth the money and fitted for the tacomas

 

My choice was simple, Weathertech doesn't cover the dead-pedal whereas Husky does. With the amount of slop and salt in the winter here I couldn't have all that slipping down the dead pedal under the mat.

I have the weathertechs. They fit really well. The first set I had kinda got a sticky residue on the underside after about a year. Autoanything replaced them for free under warranty, and let me keep the old ones.

 

Hopefully these new weathertechs don't do the same thing with the sticky residue. I was worried it would get on the truck carpet. It reminded me of old plastic that starts to break down over long periods of time.

 

Boss had me order him weathertech and i ordered husky xact. He saw mine and was upset with his choice. Weathertechs look more plasticy and husky look more rubbery. Both fit similarly.

 

That's what the boss gets for making you order his shit. lol

I agree with all this. However, they do "walk" a little and from time to time, I have to re center the locking clips. They are deeper and hold more liquid. I have the mud ones. Can't remember the name off hand.

 

I'm finding that they are not available for manual transmission... is this correct?

 

I have weather tech liners now, and am switching to husky due to slippery tendencies they have. I live in Northern Indiana it snows a lot. To me I was hustled by a popular name by buying them. They work great don't get me wrong but I would rather not have a mat that is so slippery just do to my geographical location.

 

They are. I drive by the Factory everyday on my way to School.

 

Not sure but I don't see why they wouldn't be. I have the weatherbeater model. I would think they'd fit though. Pretty sure the center hump is roughly the same and they don't go that far up them. It might be due to the clutch/dead pedal area

 

I have WeatherTechs from the GB that was on here. Love them.
