    With the mounting kit you can only mount one end. The spread of the bracket only fits the end points. It won't align with other holes along the tread. I call foul!! I saw the fine print on the order from the TW member who posted above about it might needing 2 though. Mounting kit is very subjective as it leads you to believe that that is all you need. Guess I'll be ordering another mounting bracket as well. personally I think it should come with 2 mounting brackets to hold both ends down. FML:mad:

    How did you guys get extra knobs? One of mine was broken when it arrived.

    Wont the sun damage those pretty quick? I know someone who keeps there traction pads in a carrying case on his roof rack, and the case is shredding just from UV.
