For anybody not in the Mod Day thread here is some photos:

Alright photos from the Mod Day yesterday, and small descriptions on them for anyone who cares.
@TheTacoma got his new Icon UCAs on.

@TacoAlaMode and @TheTacoma working on Brian's extended brake lines. @rmepilot not pictured, we had just returned from flushing brake fluid out of my eye. (That burns like a MF'er btw)

And of course the big job, the beautiful King's:

and we discovered my driver side CV is throwing grease so I'm going to have to fix that very soon...but going to Colorado tomorrow so can't worry about it right now...here's some photos to show the angles my CVs are sitting at.

All in all very successful Mod Day in my opinion. Great to meet Rob and see his truck! of course @justinalldredge19 was there to provide lots of moral support...ok and he gave me a hand on my King's, and @BAMATOY there to save me with putting my headlights in because one just had to go out on our way back from lunch.

I'll be heading up to Birmingham this week for a conference at the bjcc. Any suggestions for some good food and beer?

@nagorb We went with a buddy from work today out to East Alabama Gun Club. Have you heard of it? They have a lot of pistol ranges, a 100yd rifle, 200yd and 300yd rifle range, concession stand and crappers. I think my wife and I are going to join. 225 for a family per year and you can take guest with you. It's a really neat place located south of Opelika down 169 past Crawford Alabama. About 20 minutes from Tiger Town

I've heard of it, never been though. I was thinking about it when we first moved, but I don't really go shooting enough to justify the cost.

You'll be in Uptown, and there are quite a few places within walking distance of BJCC. Or you could drive a little and hit the Lakeview area on the North side of the tracks. I like to hit Good People, Trim Tab, and Cahaba breweries for beer. They will often have excellent food trucks parked outside. El Barrio is a place I like to go for margaritas, and their food is pretty excellent.. Bamboo for sushi, Slice or Pops for pizza. Hit lous Pub in lakeview if you want an old school bar (it's also the only bar in Alabama that is also a liquor store)-- on of my favorite places. If you go to Lakeview, you will be within walking distance of several bars and restaurants, Hatti B's hot chicken, Skycastle, Babalu, Slice, BYOB, Tin Roof,... . Also, you can hit Avondale.. There is Avondale brewery, 41st St. Pub. Saw's (bbq and excellent cheese burger), The Wooden Goat, Melt, Parkside, Hotbox, Mrs. Fancys (burgers and oysters).. Lots of places all within walking distance.

Forgot the 5 Points South area.. The J Clyde-huge beer list and decent food, World of Beers, Black Market Bar,... be prepared to be asked for money from the homeless and panhandlers.

:cheers:More of an attempt to organize people of here around the state and around the Southeast trying to scout for over landing trips and trail rides. I just started looking and no one was doing it around here. As you see the closest there is for around here is earthbound over and in Tennessee. Alabama overland but they don't do the group rides or trips really. So I'm trying to partner up with some guys to get some stuff together. Than and I may be biased but I think the sticker design is top notch
