Stupidity is running on "dunce" control in the country right now.

 

i'm training a new guy at work

last week went to a troublecall for someone who couldn't connect to wifi on laptop
all other devices worked

insisted it was our modem

w/e

laptop was connecting to wrong network
fixed it, forgot old network,

swapped gateway for the same reasons you installed the other app

he asked why i lied/deceived the customer

told him i didnt, i made everyone happy.

 

Not sure if it's stupidity, selfishness, lack of good sense or just that they are the product of their own sheltered, selfish and entitled world.


Maybe we should just blindly follow the rest of the sheep and forget everything else. Become numb and just give up. Everything becomes so much easier when you dont have a care outside of yourself.


As I near 40 I'm trying to find a place where I can exist without getting angry with people I deal with from day to day. Not care about that asshole that cut me and 9 others off while forcing themselves through traffic. Just let go of this shit that will end up causing my BP and stress to spike

basically.. like being high 24/7 without being high 24/7.

 

Yeah I know. I say new is my only option but I'll never pay 1500 for a shell. I'm too damn cheap. Lol. I keep hoping I'll drive by a house on patrol and get lucky and find one for sale.

 

i talk a lot about wasted energy

we only have so much, why waste it on that guy that doesn't deserve it.

Always been my mentality with 95% of the BS. Even more so now with my profession. There's just so much ridiculousness in every day life. It's not worth my time or energy. It's kind of like the pick your battle parenting theory.

 

This is also what ive been learning. Since I started a serious relationship with Gaia over 2 years ago now I have taken on the responsiblity of a child. He was 9 and a handfull of anger and frustration. Has had no male role model in his whole life. We are finally at a point where its working but it wasnt easy at all.

As for you man, i respect you for what you do. No way I could handle it.

 

I thank you for that but honestly being a father to a kid who isn't yours is way more commendable than what I do buddy. Hats off to you!

The struggle is real, I thought that when I got old (hit 41 this year) that I would stop hating people as much and lighten up... Laugh out loud.

It only seems to get worse because you can only take peoples senseless actions one of two ways. Either that bullshit you just witnessed was careless and accidental, which is still angering. Or, that shit was intentional and deliberate. The latter seems more realistic when you start stacking up the number of times a day people try to pull some self serving, careless, inconsiderate shit on you during normal adulting activities... People, can't live with em, can't bury them all by yourself.

2 of my soldiers got in a bar fight with some locals over the weekend, so in good Army fashion I might as well have gotten in a bar fight too. This is too much BS for a Monday. Been getting my shit kicked in all morning because of their BS.
