2012 Tacoma Black Crew Cab Long Bed
    Good Morning everyone.
I recently acquired my 2nd Tacoma, a 2012 4x4 SR5 crew cab with a long bed and just over 100k on it. My first one ,years ago, was a used 1995 Ex Cab 2wd, which I really liked, and loved the gas mileage. I didn't have that one as long as I would have liked because the family grew out of it pretty quickly.
I broke my right foot 2 weeks after I picked up my new to me Tacoma, so I have not driven it very much. I still have another 3-4 weeks before I May Be able to drive again.
In the few fill ups I got in I was averaging about 20 mpg combined probably about 55% Hwy 45% back roads. Is that what I can expect moving forward?
Why does Toyota insist on putting steel wheels and or ugly hubcaps on 30,000+ trucks, it takes the whole thing down. I am Unfortunate enough to have one with the ugly, shiny chrome Hubcaps. 1st priority is to get some alloy wheels. 2nd priority a Tonneau cover.
I also owned a 2010 Tundra, which I also liked but hated the mileage. I have owned quite a few Silverados Ext Cabs and Crew cabs, Dodges, and Fords.
I am hoping this Tacoma is IT!!!

    Welcome

I would say you driving a 2012 you have to wait for your 2nd injection pump to fail and get frustrated. Good luck OP.

Here is a link just in case you want to be prepared for it when the time comes.
