I don't care if we're racing Geo Metros. I'll have a smile from ear to ear and giggle like a school boy :D

I'm at like 9k rpm at 60 in 5th. Off road only for the win. Who needs to go over 60 anyways on dirt unless you're a dez racer. Shit gets weird at that speed on dirt

I haven't been over about 80 in the dirt. Too easy to die.

Made a pull strap for the cr the other day. Seems like it should hold up for awhile. Used a punch and heated the end to make clean holes through the strap. Worked pretty good.

80 in dirt would be pretty crazy. I went 85 on asphalt on the xr650l and it got a little sketchy lol

I do the ton in the dirt almost every ride... Big bikes are more stable at speed though. Also dual disks help scrub speed, it's not so scary if you can stop.

Nah I haven't had anything like that happen. Maybe a grounding issue with something? That's pretty odd

I've rolled at just over 100 a few times on long straight dirt roads though usually stayed about 60 in those situations. Perhaps not the best idea in hindsight but it was fun at the time.

Someday when I'm done with school and have money I'm thinking about getting a rear bumper built that has three receivers on it so I can make a very sturdy bike carrier that has three supports to the vehicle allowing me to do minor wheeling to back-country camp spots while carrying the bike and putting a RTT on a bed cage or whatever it's called. Alternatively I might get a small high clearance off-road trailer and put the bike in the bed but I'd prefer no trailer.

Im almost debating about buying a prinsu rack and moving the tent up to the roof. Idk if I'd enjoy it all the way up there though.

This guy posted on fb, but Idk if he is on here. Pretty sweet setup with the LB.

agreed. but having a tall truck already makes loading the bike a pain in the bed, the hitch carrier i can easily do myself. decisions..

Just rolled over 80k on my 1100RT. Did it while on a 4,600 mile trip around the West. The bike was so comfortable and handled so great in the corners and was able to get a little speed going in Death Valley.

Might be time for a new rear shock.
