    Thanks!

And yep, sure did! In fact I think it was on that spot in the photo you quoted, got a nice rock rash on my slider. We were looking for spots to test them out on haha. They're holding up great!!

Thanks Greg. Looks like I still have my stock lugs. Swapped them out as soon as I got back. Look forward to future wheeling, after I get my tires swapped out. They're done for now.

Yeah, I'm surprised how torn up my tires are after just a few runs. Maybe it's a combination of weak tires and my grinding on them. Anywho, waiting for the replacement approval so i can move forward.

Looking at those pics and vids, you sure did put your sliders to good use on the second half. Maybe it wasn't such a bad thing that I had to ditch out early.. not having sliders and all.

Oh, cool - you do have your stock lugs. I had no idea the importance of stock lugs needed for the factory spare. A good note to all those out there with aftermarket wheels but are still using the stock spare: keep your stock lugs somewhere on your rig as the aftermarket lugs aren't meant for the stock wheel.

Steve, I have P rated Duratracs and they've been wonderful. Haven't lost one yet (knock on wood). Others have different tires that are also fantastic. Just giving ya a review of my personal experience with the duratracs. Stoked to see Steve's Toy with new shoes. Solid!

My KO2's are pretty torn up by now as well, and they were practically brand new when I got my truck only 6,000 miles ago. Granted...I've kind of put them through the ringer so I'm not really surprised, they've been a great tire overall though. Never had any real traction issues to speak of and they've never been punctured or gone flat. I really recommend them, they're heavy AF though (E rated).

The second half of the run we were sort of picking the hardest spots intentionally (or I should say, @MADSTEEZE was and then convincing us to do it lol)...most spots we hit up had easier alternatives.

BFG tires are the way to go. I have had 5 sets of em. They last for 60,000 miles, traction is great, and they are not noisy like some other tires. I haven't had a need to try any another. I would go mud terrain though if I didn't drive so many miles.

Alex really did set the tone for the second half of our trip. It was so fun using those rocksliders!

Yeah....I probably should have said rainstorm instead of thunderstorm, lol. I used to live in Texas and the thunderstorms we got there looked and sounded like the apocalypse had come and the gates of hell were being opened. Probably not something I'd want to find myself stuck in out in the middle of nowhere. Glad you guys were able to get off the mountain before it got too close.

So after our run this weekend, my driver side 5100 had the dust shield (?) come loose and is sliding up and down the top half of the shock. I think it's making the random 'clunk' I'm hearing on dips and bumps sometimes...is this something to be concerned about or? I asked in another thread but everyone is telling me that the front shocks don't come with dust shields  I'm not really sure what else that part could be. Doesn't seem like a major issue, just kind of annoying especially considering I just got them put on.
