What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

We need the details...

 

Mine is loud if I am standing by the truck, but more than 10 ft away I cant hear it. Eventually I might dynamat it.

Getting ready to plasti dip my rear bumper end caps ... i just don't care for the chrome and will be using the black plasti dip. First time ever using it. I cleaned end caps good and have everything taped off ect.
.... here i go

 

I would tape off the rest of the rear of the truck. You will get overspray on it if not.

I have the same stupid chrome and look forward to your results.

I'm doing that right now, you have an estimate of how long it'll take?

 

I did .. taped the entire back off 4 coats on so far, going to do 1 or 2 more then i will post results. I think it's going to look good and better than the chrome

FYI. Just got update from K &N that the 63-9039 CAI that I ordered will be available in around 3 weeks. They are only taking pre-orders now.

 

Added some HP to it today! Don't know how much to really say since I'm overseas... What's the metric conversion?! lol.

Oh yeah, and a Rocky SD mount. Got a front rail in the mail but couldn't wait to mount it, plus it fit anyway so why not.

 

Just picked my truck up from having the TSB done, what a damn difference!

 

Finished plasti dipping my rear bumper end caps and got rid of the chrome ... was a very easy job, took some time to cover and tape everything off. I did 6 coats waiting 20-minutes between each coat ( used almost a full can ) ... I like the look alot better and it was a cheap mod, i almost spent $160 a while back on a set of new black bumper end caps .. this saved me about $150 and looks good

 

You're tooling around Lakenheath with a taco? Nice!! What's the UK gov't charging you a year now per "yank tank?" Are F-150s still "discouraged" from coming over?

 

Hell Yeah I am! Lol.

Don't know about discouraged... There's a huge 2500HD tons of lifted HD Rams out here. It's been ok so far, only had it a few months yet. I didn't think I would be able to have a lift and everything (why I sold my last taco) but after seeing all that stuff I picked this one up. Haven't filled up on the economy yet... Very scared to!

Wait until you get out into the country, especially up north and toward Wales, where the lanes are about as wide a Mini. They make Tacomas (or even a Hilux) look HUGE!
