    I'm looking for around 2.5 lift in the front with 5100's. How would these coils work out? I'm thinking the 5100's at .75 would get me to 2 1/4. Is the spring rate at 620?

    Yes 620LB coils. Sounds like you are on the right track! I had these at .75 with a top plate spacer to get me a FULL 3". Would sit right at 2.5" without any spacer. These coils ride great matched with the 5100 too!

    Did you have any armour/added weight in the front? Reason I'm asking is on some sites it states 3" lift on .75 I'm trying to keep stock uca's and around or under 2.5 lift.
    I'd like to eventually use a tube bumper that's why I'm looking over 600lbs rate. In the mean time I'd rather the front not look like a keystone because of camber issues

    Pre loading the 5100 will destroy your ride. You're better off to get OME coils.

    Ride quality is personal preference and I haven't personally experienced a preloaded 5100. When I was doing my research on lifts on this forum, before I even bought my truck, 90% of what I read was 'don't preload' the 5100. So I didn't. With the cost of OME coils being under $200 US...I think, it was a no brainier for me not to have to do it twice if I didn't like the ride of a preloaded strut.

    I'm leaning towards a progressive aal. I'm elegible for the leaf recall so I'm waiting for the install and adding the aal. Why do you say to go with the Dakars?
