I posted it in a hurry. I'll get an extra from my buddy at the dealer for next to nothing when I go.

Just line the damage with dish soap and pump air into the tire. Shouldn't be too hard to locate. I actually had the same thing happen, but since I am a freak, I noticed the sound almost immediately after it happened. My driver front wheel has a nice line in it like yours, but hardly any material was taken off.

The scratches are pretty deep, don't feel comfortable running it even as a spare. Got a good deal on a new F5 so it's okay.

Man I remember last time I went up there with the group. The best part was the HIGH SPEED return down the hill.

Well um, neither is ideal. Just thinking of your rocker panels....

But Brian was telling me about a wider trail up

You wouldn't really want a stock rig on the actual moon/funny rocks. But the trail up there is mostly forest service so you could tag along and just have to wait at the bottom of those sections and watch/take pictures. I'd take the 4runner invade you did get any damage (just in case)

The areas are rated more difficult vs a place like tahuya is rated easy. So might be better to start somewhere else and get experience first. Usually part of a more difficult rating includes being experienced off roader too.

It's a wider trail but there's one hill climb I had to use both my lockers to make it up. Also had to use my rear locker in 2 other places on that trail

Pretty sure @ShooterMcGavin did. Not sure if he had larger tires, but his only problem was he got hung up on the hitch receiver from taking too steep of a line.

ya I know I've seen pics of a stock 4 Runner taking the easy path up the moon rocks face. Someone here posted it. I could see banging the hitch receive doing it though.

My RTT is out of action. The zipper for the cover is shot. Driving home on Sunday the tent material was falling out the side and flopping around. CVT won't have replacement covers in until the 20th. My truck looks real funny to me without the tent on it.

King coilover replacement parts shipped yesterday.

    Thought he was lifted?

Not saying a stock runner or Tacoma couldn't do it.....I just have the feeling @Nylaia probably doesn't want to risk damage.

At the time he was completely stock. And he doesn't throw any caution to the wind with his truck either, he uses it.

He has a toyec lift but stock tires. When he went to tahuya with us i was paying attention to his truck when others were getting hung up he just walked it like nothing. He had flex 4 days. Very impressive rig for being not super big. Or it could be all driver....
