You know? I wasn't thinking at all. I gave my factory driveshaft away when I put the one piece in...

Shoulda saved it as a spare

I need to get me a spare drive shaft. I did pretty good though. I don't think I tagged mine too bad/much at all. Had no unexpected vibes on the way home. But haven't crawled under to check yet.

Kind of wished someone could have got some pics of my ass when I was flexing it..... I have a nice ass:p. Haha. I didn't see any sign at all on the shocks of tire rubbing. Still need some bump spacers though.

I dont have any way of taking it to a shop. I just have the truck and my motorcycle. I think im ok for around town driving, but im not going to risk highway speed. It looks like a 1 week turn around to get the other one to me. So I should be back in no time

I check under my today and it didn't look bad. My front skid is pretty banged up and a light superficial scratch on the drive shaft not enough to cause a vibe or anything.

Tim - you know any other knucklehead that would like to give away (to me) a perfectly good factory driveshaft?:boink:

He said he needed his stock front driveshaft! Im pretty sure you only shorten the rear shaft... Not the front...

Doesn't a crawl box go between the tranny and the t case? If so the rear shaft shortens and front shaft lengthens.

Spare. After seeing all the carnage at the Takeover. I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I was under the impression that only the rear shortens. But wouldn't know for sure... A simple joke blown out of proportion here.
