While I wait for delivery I'd like to figure out which side I want the fold out to be on. I'm leaning toward the driver side because it seems like that's where I spend most of my time. What are some other considerations or reasons some of you went with the side you did?

I was forced to use the drivers side since I have a foxwing awning that covers the entire passenger side. About the only change I might make is to mount the tent on the camper instead of the cab. This is to make it easier for setup/tear down as I can use the tailgate. Also I just realized that I no longer have XM reception and my FM is greatly reduced...first world problems lol.

Is it difficult or any reason we can't set up the RTT so that it folds over the tail gate?

Drivers side. If I need to make a quick exit and get in the car the drivers seat is often the only open one...don't want to be running around the vehicle.

On the upside it would take up less of a footprint. Downside would be limited bed access and food prep space.

When packed up, the bigger models have a lot of overhang on the sides.

I need you guys to confirm or tell me what you guys want specifically, please include color.

I will present this to CVT and hopefully they'll accept the alternates

    1. @FJRAYGE - Mt. Hood and 55" awning - California - Need Confirmation
    2. @Doug777 - Mt. Shasta with annex, summit series, and stargazer in Tan - Need Confirmation
    3. @Rhubarb - Mt. Hood_Summit_Tan - Texas - Confirmed
    4. @Loganc08 - Mt. Shasta in earth tone green - Virginia - Need Confirmation
    5. @MCObray - Mt. Shasta - Need Confirmation
    6. @vans4249 - Mt. Rainier - Need Confirmation

I believe I gave enough time for the others to confirm

@Rhubarb was the only one to confirm his selection..

CVT has accepted his selection and now requests group buy to close.

I am still considering a rear-open for my CVT. Mainly because my bedrack is at cab height and it'll provide a pretty generous area to place items on the tailgate if needed.

One of the doors to the annex can be left open so I can access the bed through the annex as well.

Still going to come up with a few ideas.
