Does no one know how to google shit. Fuck... Spoon fed.
Don't. Harbor freight welders are for glueing metal together. Not proper welds. Spend once, cry once

To us maybe. Eh, a few posts that answered his question fairly quickly vs him spending hours going through all 400 pages of this thread? No harm no foul imo.

What annoys me is when somebody asks how to do something when there is a How-to detailing every single step. That gets pretty aggravating.

How about you sacrafice your attitude and kindly stay silent. I would much rather ask a quick fucking question or 2 then make a thread thatll have 2 pages of content, when practically all my questions concerning rtt's were answered in the rtt thread. On 1 page. Dont worry ill stay out so you dont get your panties in a bunch.

For the most part I totally agree, I realized that I needed a better welder when the HF unit was a total POS but it was cheap and I did learn to weld. I am by no means a "welder" but I've accomplished some DIY stuff and invested in a proper welder now. I'd pick up scrap metal from local shops and just practice on junk but enough of that, this is a RTT thread, I did make bed bars for myself though

There is an anything welding thread where you can get dizzy from all the information. Go there and look for advice on how and what to start out with.

Couple higher quality photos from this weekend with the GFs new Canon T6i camera. The olive green on the Kukenam Ruggadized is downright awesome. blends into the woods extremely well (even if it is mounted to a Super White Tacoma...).

More market leading innovation from Tepui Tents!

    Official Press release!
Tepui Tents Launches Versatile, Lightweight Baja Series of Rooftop Tents at 2016 Outdoor Retailer Summer Market
SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (August 1, 2016) — Tepui Tents, a leading innovator of rooftop tents and shelters, today announced its latest innovation – the Baja SeriesTM. The new tents in the Baja SeriesTM are the Santa Cruz-based brand’s lightest to-date and allow rooftop tent users to interchange canopies depending on the conditions they face.

“Over the years, we’ve led innovation in the rooftop tent space with our first ‘Ruggedized’ and ‘Sky’ tents, and with this expansion, we’re seeing more mainstream consumers who are looking for reliable, comfortable sleeping set ups for their time in the outdoors,” said Evan Currid, founder of Tepui Tents. “The Baja Series is our latest effort to offer the lightest, most versatile tents available.”

The patent-pending Baja SeriesTM tents utilize a Zipper GimpÔ to attach the canopy to the tent’s base. Three different canopies will be available: a mesh shade canopy for hot humid weather, a lightweight nylon rip-stop canopy for spring time or a heavy duty canopy for harsh winter conditions.

The Baja SeriesTM is the latest in Tepui’s growing list of innovations that have made the brand a category leader in rooftop tents. Tepui has developed the market for rooftop tents initially seen as an overlanding necessity into affordable and comfortable sleeping options for mainstream outdoor consumers. In Spring 2016, Tepui became the first rooftop tent manufacturer to be available at major retailers, including REI, Bass Pro Shops, Backcoutnry.com and Cabela’s.

Tepui Tents will display the new Baja SeriesTM, along with models from its current line, August 3-6 in booth No. 36212 of the main hall at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market in Salt Lake City.

Watch for pricing on the new Tepui Baja series tents soon. They are being debuted tomorrow at the Outdoor Retailer show and more details should follow.

Hey everyone, I am a long-time member (although not very active at posting) and very new to owning a RTT. I live in Milton, Florida and have been looking for somewhere to use my new CVT. I would like to do more camping at "primitive" sites or places other than state parks. I really want to be able to take my dog without a bunch of rules. Any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
