Scored a 6 man tent from my brother, REI Kingdom 6. Just have to get a tent pole repaired/replaced. Contacted one company for a quote. No more squeezing 3 kids and a dog in the 4 man tent with me and wifey.

I'm almost 56 now. I can tell you there is a place for caring. I find it helpful to keep things in perspective. Every situation that I run into, my brain does a quick process flow chart starting with "Is it life or death" and then "does this adversely affect my, or my family's livelihood". If it is NO, then it's not going to raise my BP. When it comes to people rather than situations, if they don't add value to my life (by value, I'm talking smiles, comfort, friendship, things like that) I don't sweat them or their standings. I'm not selfish. I'm not mean or judgmental. I will do anything I can to help anyone who asks, and I try to do something nice for a stranger every single day I am out and about, even if it is a simple compliment.

One person is not going to change the world, but every single person can change their own world, and influence others as well. I'm not responsible for the opinions and actions of anyone else, only mine. I've been off BP meds for quite some time!

    Easy as pie.

I have 2 daughters, one my own blood, one from a previous marriage. Love knows no blood lines. Being a DAD is a big job and takes a hell of a strong man to do it right, sacrificing his own wants for those of a family. Fathering is stupid easy, sticking around for the duration... that's a Dad! (No panties in a knot folks, sometimes divorce is the only way, I just think many jump ship a little soon.

Meh, let em enjoy! I have insurance.

OK, that's enough for me... time to go to a paint shop!

Oh yeah my issue matches the tsb. I have already had it down there because it was 3/4 of a quart low on tyranny fluid. I will read it again to make sure. Thanks man.

Call toyota and verify, sometimes having the toyota case number can get them past what ever thing they are requiring. Dealerships can do almost anything they want, you have to play their game.

Cool, thanks for the advise guys. My truck definitely does what the TSB describes so hopefully they won't give me any issues. They were cool as hell when they had my truck in to check the fluid so I'm just not getting why there is such a push back now. Guess we'll just have to see.

Dealerships are paid a flat fee for warranty/TSB work. They may not be making any money on this TSB or might actually be loosing money in labor on it. So they may want to push off as many as possible as it isn't a profitable thing for the tech to be doing.

Lots of maybes in that statement.

That's actually what I was thinking as well or maybe I just got the wrong service writer on the phone today.

Big Two can suck on my left nut. They screwed me over too many times in their service deparment. They were great when they were in Mesa, but once they moved to Chandler, they stopped caring about the customer. Big Two lost touch. I became a number instead of a customer. I ended up getting stuff stolen out of my truck several times and the service manager was a total dick about it. He even denied that their employees wouldn't steal. It turned out that it was the people who washed the cars that were stealing shit. Big Two lost all respect in my book.
    End of rant.

That really is terrible, sorry you had such a bad experience with them Brian. They were super cool about the transmission fluid check and fill, they even gave me a rental car for 2 days. I guess this will be the true test. I have an appointment on Wednesday. As far as I'm concerned it is a no brainer. It has been in there once and they felt the issue and took care of me. Now the issue is still there, there is a TSB, and my truck is one of the vins on said TSB. I don't see how they could deny me on it. We will see if guess. I will post either way.

Thanks guys for listening to me belly ache. Didn't meant to bitch.
