    Hey all, New to this site and looking for some help. I have an 06 Tacoma V-6 4.0 and I just purchased and installed a Weapon R Intake (Specifically the Secret Weapon Intake). I believe that I have installed everything correctly. However when I started the truck it starts like normal then sputters a little bit then idols between 1/2- 1 RPM. Does anybody know why this is happening? Any input/ideas as to why this is happening would be greatly appreciated.
    :confused::confused::confused:

    sounds about normal to me. you gotta give the trucks computer some time to adjust to the amount of air coming in now. never heard of the weapon r intake though.

    Also, you might want to start using premium if you're not already.

    clean the throttle body with some seafoam deep creep spray........it'll idle smoother when you do this.plus, it'll pull air in a little better.

    Run the truck for 10 minutes in the drive way.
    Then go drive it at 25 for a 5 minutes, then go the freeway for 10 to 20 minutes.

    This should fix it.

    if that fails. Disconnect the battery for 12 hours.
    Then try it over again.

    While the batter is off, make sure you have no air leaks.

    Cleaning the throttle body is a good idea, just use allot of cloths. Do this once a year any ways.
