The Taco can tow it, but a higher capacity rig ought to tow it better sure I agree.
I see ppl towing doing 80+, not what most trailer/tires are recommended to do. But that's another subject.
But to imply that it can't be safely done with a Taco at its rated capacity is a different story also.

    Hope that helps
    Cheers!

    Overrated ? Really ?
Tow rating - - - "Toyota was the first to begin certifying vehicles to the new standard beginning in the 2011 model year. It went all-in, too. Every model in the Toyota lineup has been rated according to J2807 since then."

Only relevant when you can't sell it to cut a profit and go out of business.
    Real world situation.

I have many old jeeps in my lifetime. Half dozen at least. Just worked on one tonight, the good ol 4.0. Will never buy one of the new ones, POS. Buy a Mustang and smoke us all. Chrysler sucks ! Manufacturers think they can carry a name over and people will fall in love with it. LOL
And my Tundra Pro will dust yours.

"The truck will not tow quite as much as its body-on-frame competition and does not have heavy off-road, rock-crawling capability...... The truck will easily tow a small boat and is very well-suited to haul motorcycle" AWESOME A SMALL BOAT !

I saw a jeep a few months ago on the dealer lot. $48K Eco diesel, dual moon roof all that shi@.
No freakin hitch nor tow package.
Who makes a Jeep with a Eco Diesel at $48K without a hitch on it ? ONLY CHRYSLER !

And you paid an extra $17K probably too.
    Compare apples to apples.
Two different trucks dude. Really ?
I have a Tunda Pro also and common sense would tell me don't compare the two.
Why are you even wasting your time here ????

212,000 on the original 4.0 and still tugging loads.

Had that 18' Seaarc loaded with power tools, generators, hand tools and other supplies for a boat in access site only Eagle Scout project. Not at the dinky lake in front of my house- over the mountains and down.
That's all I'm asking my 2016 to do. Shouldn't be too tough to stack up against an old Cherokee, should it?

Those engines are amazing aren't they.
They discontinued 4.0's because people did not like the look of the long hood line. Too geriatric I guess.
Keep that differential fluid changed regularly.
    I use Royal Purple.
I had 4 of those and three GC's. Know them like the back of my hand.

Drunk again I see. Smitty was right tonight in his post that you were drunk....again. Check it out. LOL :drunk:
First time I agreed with Smitty.
I would say I have more vehicles than you have beers in the fridge but I probably might lose.
