I really have been enjoying my 3rd gen TRD OR. I have to say I'm disappointed in the AM and FM radio reception. I'm not much of a satellite radio guy, so don't bash me about that! I live in the Houston area and SHOULD have great reception and access to many radio stations. In fact, my radio picks up many less stations than my '02 Dodge Ram with stock radio, and the stations I can pick up have weak reception. Frequent drop-off and much static.

Is this just me? Anyone else having any issues?

HD, HutchJ??? Heck if I turn on the HD it continually drops in and out of HD and it's even WORSE than having the HD setting off. Man, I guess I have to have the dealer take a look at it. It's disappointing.

Sounds like the antenna connection may be loose or bad antenna

I am in Austin and have noticed a station which has a strong signal on all other FM radios I have used is really, really crappy. Another which has an HD signal is constantly going in and out of HD as you described. OP did you ever get any resolution?

Hey brown, no, I haven't talked to the dealer/service about it. I've just kinda learned to live with it. :annoyed:
