have never been to "The Dot" with this group, haven't been to Uwharrie in over 10 years, no interest in going when the temps are this high, maybe this fall, but i doubt i camp at "The Dot" my tent has wheels and nice comfy king size bed, and heat if i really feel whimpy. i'm done with ground tents.

 

I'm guessing URE has changed a bit since you last went there lol

 

Does anyone go to URE on a weekday or ever just go for a day trip, without camping over night?

 

judging from the pix I've seen, yes it has, some not for the good. i can't believe how some of the trails have been carved out.
I'm guessing Kodak Rock has been closed ? haven't heard anyone mention that recently, on Rocky Mount Loop

all this talk about URE.... I'm pumped to go. but also nervous. will my weak sauce TRD sport be able to keep up? let alone drive on some of the trails?
