How does the fridge disconnect from the mount?

There are three spring clips in the bottom of the fridge that grab pins that stick up from the base plate. I did 100 miles offroad last month and the fridge stayed put. I have taken the fridge out of the truck a few times and removing it from the base plate wasn't easy, so make sure you bolt it to something solid before you snap it on.

Mounted in the bed. My combo slide for the bed isn't quite finished, but the fridge portion is.

Hmm... I like the idea. Just don't think it would work. I have it behind the drivers seat, but flip it around on weekends. So during the week when it's just me I have the lid open from the rear driver door, but on the weekends I turn it around so my wife can open it and grab stuff while I'm driving. Depends how much of a pain it would be to pop out and flip. Also how secure it would be mounting it to the seat.

I have the mounting bracket and slide for the indel b. You're welcome to come take a look at either if you'd like. Also, if your thinking about ordering the bracket, lmk cause I don't think I'm going to use it.

I'm sure you could mount the plate to the seat securely. The problem would be changing the orientation. Once the plate is mounted you would have to flip it around every time you flipped the fridge.

Also, the mounting holes on the base plate are not in the same place on each end.

Unless I mounted it to a board. Although I've thought of something like this too.

I bought a TB 41 and have been powering it off a recent dual battery install. Works amazing! Wondering if anyone has experience keeping things frozen at the bottom, and maybe keeping cold beer unfrozen at the top? What temps should I aim for ? 30-32?

Mine froze water at 34 deg and eco mode, so I'm guessing it will be tricky. ;) Might as well post how I mounted mine while I'm here. Also for anyone else reading this, don't be afraid to email the guys at truck fridge like I did. They often have sales going on. :D Stealth mount, never came loose during an 8 day wheeling trip in Moab and Colorado despite my best attempts. Left it running the entire time too off my single lame battery.

So.. something ups with my fridge. Whenever i plug it in it flashes the temp, i hear the compressor cut on and then it IMMEDIATELY cuts off.. even though my battery is completely charged. Sometimes it'll flash the E1 code too.

It'll keep trying to start/shut itself down if i let it so im lost.

Any trouble shooting tips before i call the guys at truck fridge?

What happens when you plug it into the wall with the 120v cord?

I did precisely that and the fridge ran fine.. Found out my solar panel charge controller has been corroded and hasnt been charging my battery like it should have been, which is why it had just enough juice to turn it on then right back off over and over again.. need to get off my ass and wire my dual battery setup...

yup I had that cover for mine. All the IronMan Fridge stuff works (Cover, tie-downs, slider), since it's the same fridge with a different label.
