5 pieces, 3 red, 2 blue. I left them at a shop to get done. Def don't want bed liner. Too rough on the arms, and I would think dust would really cling to it.

I paid $1500 to have mine painted and it came out like shit. So make sure to read some Yelp reviews or something. Price doesn't always equal quality

Good paint isn't cheap at all. The amount of paint/body work on my civic is about the amount of what the car costed brand new when it came out.

But, the paint is soooooooo damn good.

I FINALLY ditched mine a couple months ago. Mind you I've been driving mine since the day I rolled off a truck at the dealership 11 years ago this week! The first turn out of my neighborhood I was shocked and thought WTF did I do!!!! It does pick up quite a "SWAY" or roll. With that said, by the time I drove it a couple miles and made a bunch of turns, I was used to it. now enjoy it more. I "FEEL" like I have more control, an I think it's a bit more fun, particularly off road. I know some guys find it "dangerous" and say things like they are there for a reason... but we mod the crap out of our rides, and as we change them, those reasons for parts change as well!!!

Yeah, I'm looking at 2 qts of paint for about $125 ea, and some hardener. The panels are all prepped, and I need it to look good (not great) from 8 foot away or more. Lets face it, its a sand rail with open wheels, not a show car. If the panels were a little smaller, and the paint would come out of a rattle can consistently "wet", I'd be happy rattle-canning it myself. With the heat we have, the shit was semi drying in the air leaving lots of no shine spots.
