So glad I didn't wait. Plus... better in the driveway, than in the showroom.

    good post.

very curious to see how the sales numbers look in Q2 2017.

I can't see toyota holding 2016 market share numbers as easily with GM, Ford, RAM, Nissan, Jeep and Honda getting their groove back in the midsize truck game.

I'd be curious to see that too. Personally, if it's not a tacoma, I don't want a mid size truck. In fact, if something crazy happens and I don't get the TRD pro, I'll be signing on a 2017 silverado 2500HD soon.

No, but I think I might trade my 2016 Tacoma TRD OR 2WD with only 2400 miles for a 2017 Tundra TRD PRO in Cement and it's not much more then a Tacoma TRD PRO is going for!

    2017 Tundra TRD PRO Cement!

One dealer said they would give me $30,000 and another $28,000! I might pay a little more off on it, only owe 13,000 now and paid $34,000 thats with TT&L and interest!

That's insane. I guess if people are willing to pay it, the dealerships are going to suck every dollar they can for a specially equipped Tacoma.

We planned on buying a 2017 Cement T4R Pro, but ended up working a deal on a 2013 X6/35i M Sport with 27k miles this past weekend. I really wanted the T4R, but the wife loves the X6 and the incredible creature comforts, plus it has a twin turbo V6. Talk about a wolf in sheeps clothing!

Haha primer! For some reason though, I love it!
    In my opinion:
    First is cement
    Second would be white
Red if I was dead set on a pro and couldn't find any other colors lol.

Just got MSRP in GST region $43,755.00 with no adds....They are saying there is a factory delay on ALL 2017 Tacomas which is pushing the 2017 back till end of this month

So that looks inline with the previous pricing announcement - AT @ $42,760 + $995 handling to dealer = $43,755. (which puts MT @ $41,755 before adds)

Did they share the delay reasons? Parts constraints, etc.?

They did not...My pro had a 8/10 est date on yesterday morning and when I checked back for MSRP at 3ish they had pushed all the dates to 08/31/16 est rel date on all 2017 Tacoma's in GST...

I'm in the SE region and as of yesterday, still no MSRP and my date was still 8/27.

Check out this crock of ****...my rep calls me today to go ever what is coming on the Pro I ordered. The "optional" equipment isn't "optional." I'm being forced to buy the mats, bed step, mudguards, roof rack, and TRD air filter. What gives? I asked if someone previously set this up and he said no. He said it is coming from the factory like this. I can live with the mats, mudguards, and air filter, but I really don't want the roof rack or the bed step. How can I get these deleted?

At $43k+ I might have to go with that new Raptor.
I'm a Toyota lover but for the money the raptor is a hell of a lot of bad ass!

3.5 twin turbo with rumored 450+hp
    Plush interior...
    What's another $20k

Yea that some bullshit. Bed step, roof rack at the least should be just an option and not forced upon.
