The one I got is also a lot quieter than the stock one. It's weird now

Well I just threw away about 1/2 a 4Runner worth of parts cleaning out my old place. Felt bad but most were stock stuff the no one buys (calipers, rotors, bumpers, hitch, alternator, springs). Only thing I'm bummed I tossed was two rear axle shafts as they would have been good spares for someone. Felt good to get rid of it all. I am pretty much gone of all 3rd gen stuff, kind of sad in a way.

This was only part of it...image.jpg

I'm house sitting this week for a family friend and they have a pool. It's heated so tonight it felt awesome with the cooler winds were having. I love a pool. Probably wouldn't love the upkeep.

Upkeep is a chore especially since I have no clue what I'm doing yet. I did hear it for two days and got it to 92. That was way too hot though

Runner came to the rescue earlier today...
Dad left his keys in the truck "for safe keeping" , forgot the lights were on.... Couple hours later and the truck was dead. I carry jumper cables so I pulled up and jumped the truck's battery. Would have been stranded at camp without it...mom will never stop nagging him about this.
Was kinda thinking of getting one of those power pack things for jump starting for myself since I'm usually in some pretty remote places. Might pick one up for dad too...

Oh, and something was checking out the real estate under the hood Friday night... I'm thinking maybe pine marten by the size but I've never actually seen one in the area

Hey, I am thinking about checking out a few malls this weekend. Stony, Engineer, Black Bear, and Imogene. How are the crowds?

You can count on there being people on the trail. Just get going early as you can to avoid people and weather. Even better get out and hike away from the people. The more popular the trail name the more crowded the trail.

Let me know how your tranny holds up.... :D

I wanted to try to summit some 14ers in the area, so that is the main focus, not the trails ironically... haha
