Ultra guage installed! I'm happy with how clean it looks, plus I still have room to do the ram mount.

22+ MPG on every tank. That's about the ONLY advantage of the 4 cylinder.

Finally got my truck back from the body shop. My lift and steel plate bumper are at my house. Just waiting until I have the time to install them. After that, I will get my new tires and alignment. I want to move up to 265/75 or 275/70 but don't want to tank my gas mileage. @Casper66 how bad of a hit did your MPGs take after lift and tires?

Actually now I am thinking 265/70 for my next tires. I am debating on whether to put the bumper on or not. But with the way deer seem to be finding my car recently I will be pissed if I have to replace another stock bumper. I am getting 400+ before my gas light goes on.

Your rig is also significantly more capable than mine when it comes to off-roading and hauling, so it's a give and take type of deal.

Does anyone have a spring compressor I can use to assemble my front coil overs?

At 400 miles I have usually filled up twice. It's a truck so I know I won't get good mileage though. I just try not to drive it more than needed. Plus the wifes SUV is more comfortable for family driving. I was able to use the deer hits along the parkway to get the boss to allow me to get my front bumper.

Not a great explanation but I will look into this.

It was made by Kennesaw Mountain Group. I got a good deal on a trade from another member. After doing a bunch of research, I learned they do not have a very good rep. Their customer service sucks, and their product is hit or miss. I was apprehensive about it at first, but after going and seeing the bumper, it would appear I got a great product, and did not have to deal with them at all, I only had to work with the member who previously bought it from them.

It's more or less using a floor jack to compress the spring into its position instead of a spring compressor. I have not tried it but I posted it to help save some money and not deal with a spring compressor if that's the road you wanna talk. Remember I'm a broke college kid :anonymous:

Thank you; I didn't mean to come off as unappreciative. I am all about saving a buck or two here or there. The problem I have is that I need to disassemble shocks (that are currently off the truck) and put new springs and spacers on them, then install them. I may just have to take it to a shop.
