The front rides OK. I'm battling a few things while tuning away my harsh ride.

I did purchase 14-3-650 springs, and from educated guessing and much discussion, we decided not to do anything with the front for now. That's not to say that I could see SOME ride quality improvement, but it's not the place I wanted to start, and I'll use the springs when I get a front bumper.

The root of my harsh ride issues (after @TimF took my truck for a drive) is the weight of my truck (being light) and possibly having wrong valving in the rear.

Side note; my truck drives great on 35s and 20psi. B)

I have a question. I totally get the description, Im looking for a visual. Lets use my 07 prerunner as an example... say stock everything, and what Im looking for is an example the difference if there were digressive shocks or progressive shocks on the front. Lets use a speedbump at 5mph as an example. Would Pro. or Dig be a "harder" hit? Then, same situation, but 20 mph (just an example, not a recommendation lol) how would that look? My guess is the progressive would be easier slow and harder hit fast, and the digressive would be harder hit slow and softer hit fast. Am I on the right track?

Nice. Where did you order the custom resi from? Would you mind saying how much that option cost?

That is a great deal. Have you thought of where you are going to mount the resi?

I'm thinking in front of the wheel on the frame kind of like where everyone mounts there's for the 2nd gens. I fabbed up a little bracket that I can tack weld anywhere and the resi's be attached with 2 metal hose clamps.

Only thing I'm not sure about is if my tires will hit the resi at turn or turn/bump

Just how capable is a 1st gen with a uca and ext travel coilover vs stock length. You can find alot about 2nd gens but i havent seen a mid travel 1st gen showing what its actually capable of.
