3 weeks ago or so now I think. I was trying to sell my silverado and wasn't having any luck, got offered this on trade so I took it. But I still need to get down to one vehicle and would like to pay a loan off so it needs to go.

 

Hahaha I was thinking the same thing. I forgot the original goal was to sell the truck, not trade it.

 

Well going to lbl and going to turkey bay area quite different. If you are riding lbl then stop at the visitor center and pick up a map then just enjoy riding. Turkey bay actually has their trails marked for different vehicles so HOPEFULLY you won't end up on a 4wheeler trail. But, that map is outdated and hard as fuck to follow so good luck with that. Haha

For real though that thing is sweet. My truck is in my dad's name until I graduate so I don't have the ability to just sell it or trade. Not that I really want to anyway.

Continuing my DIY alignment. Trying to dial in the toe now (by "feel" and trial & error).

Made a little toe adjustment to the passenger side last night and solved the slight steering wheel vibration I was getting at highway speed. Had too much toe-in and could see new wear/feathering on outer edge of that tire.

The driver side tire still squeals a little on hard left turns which I assume means it's dragging. Having that and a slight pulling to the right, seems like maybe I should reduce the driver side toe as well?

If I don't get it handling exactly how i want it by Friday, maybe I'll suck it up and pay a shop....
maybe (not sure I feel like the whole "do as I say and I don't care what your book says Toyota specs are" argument).

 

Just watched my truck drive off into the sunset for the last time. 9 days from starting the part out until I signed over the title. That shit was a blur.

Yessir. Would still have it otherwise. It's nice when you're selling one you want to sell rather than need to sell. It definitely gives you the upper hand while negotiating. Ha ha.
