Just did mine today. I'm level 20 and he was 540cp.

 

Man you guys are hardcore. Sub'd for tips and tricks.

I'm a lowly level 15 right now, hatched a 141 horsea from a 10k egg the other day so I've been too pissed to play since then lol

 

Main tip is catch everything you can then once oh amass a giant horde of pidgeys and other randoms and have a good 20 evolves or more, pop a double xp egg and evolve you will get 1k per guy, and if it's a new poke double that bonus as well. If you do it at a place where you can hit pokestops while doing it even better.

 

Yeah i did that and went from level 12 to 14 in about 10 minutes. I'm building up even more this time since I didn't do enough last time.

I just hate those asshole weedles, they always think they're cool enough to escape the first time.

 

Yah I'm current lvl20 but about 9k away from 21, and I have around 35k worth of evolves ready to go, I might try to get to an even 50k worth before double egging it.

 

I've been getting that the later part of the day. Wasted 5 pokeballs trying to catch something only to have an error come up and then have to try to wast 5 more to try to catch it again.

Thank fuck the patch addresses a lot of the issues with the game.

I've got a 501 egg ready for evolve but I think I needs to hold off for a better one

So does this mean I'll get a 1099 or I'll get between 1352-1593?

 

I think it means that 1099 is the max CP your Pokemon can have before you evolve

 

Yeah I think I figured it out now. The top section is specific to that Pokemon and the bottom is for the evolved Pokemon. Each has a multiplier that is where the range comes from based on the specific CP of your Pokemon you want to evolve. And then the max CP of that would be assuming you found a max CP first gen and happened to get the max multiplier

 

It means exeggcutes max is 1099. So the latter

I think I'm going to hold out for a 600ish one. I've got 100+ Psyduck candies now too so I'm on the hunt for a couple 600 of them dudes too. My highest right now is high 400
