If you dont get any specific answers regarding camping near you, you can bring this question over to the 'Regional Area - Florida' thread and see if they have reccommendations for ya. Best of luck!

Can't get a response to any of my other posts about this, maybe this is the best spot.

I'm looking to put a RTT on my SOS Concepts bed rack. I bought it off a guy that had a long bed. I'm in a short. There's a bit of over hang in he back, but the rack bolts to the bed rails on the inside, so I don't think I have too much to worry about, just trying to get a second opinion. Here are a few pics:image.jpgimage.jpg image.jpg

The only issue I see is the possibility of the tent mounting hardware touching/wearing on your soft top. Also, depending on the size tent you purchase there may be an issue with fitment (length) of the mounting rails on the bottom of the tent meeting your bed rack rails.

Thanks for the thoughts! There are also two bars running perpendicular to the cross bars on the roof of the rack. I wonder if mounting on those would be an option.
On a short bed, the top of the bed's actually a little wider (towards the front of the truck). No it's not bent. The back of the bed actually comes in near the rear, just like a long bed, but not until a foot back

Worse case scenario I can mount it to my Prinsu rack, but I'd rather go over the bed so I can get in and out of my cab should I use the annex

FYI: Don't know about others, but the CVT annex has a very large zippered door that opens on the truck side. Makes it very easy to get into the vehicle from the annex!

I have a CVT awning mounted on the side of my Front runner rack. I was packing it down this weekend and when i went to tighten one of the nylon straps on the exterior of the case it snapped.... Any ideas on how i can fix it?

I carry a bunch of these NRS Cam Straps with me in different lengths, not sure if this would help or not.

NRS straps are the shit, and not all that expensive either. Take care of them and they'll last forever.
