I think I have a fluid film problem! I did it again 2 more cans in and on frame. My frame looks like it was pulled out of a vat of Vaseline. But If there's a 2nd owner they'll have a frame with not a spec of rust. Does anyone else share my sickness?

I use LPS3 myself but my son is a chemist and he gave me a can of anti corrosive product that has a rubber matrix so I'm going to try that out on one of the frame rails.

I used Fuid film last fall on my truck, 5 cans. As it had none on it before that. I plan to hit it again with 2-3 this year. It completely shed off all salt off all my parts and frame as expected. .....great product!!!

You should buy it in bulk and get an undercoating gun. It's a little cheaper that way and the coating is a little thicker and more even. I got 2 gallons of the stuff a couple of years ago and haven't used it all up even with two applications a year.

Been wanting to buy the gallons but only needed to touch up fender areas , the rest has stayed on really well. Next time for sure already have the spray gun.

I took my truck in to have the tires balanced and the techs were wiping the Fluid Film off my frame looking for the "leak". Finally the manager realized what was going on and told them to stop wiping it up.

I was like, "You A holes owe me $12!"

Awhile ago took truck in for simple inspection. I do all my own work so was nervous bout anyone touching it. Later tech came out to tell me my struts were leaking oil needed replacement. I called bullshit and told him 5100's were only couple years old and they are fine. Pretty obvious to any competent tech that I spray underside with oil for corrosion protection. Wont be going back there again!
