Already have a shortbed, spent 12 years with it and learned my lesson about how useless it is.

$946.40 - but I'm sure there will be an additional charge for the TPMS once the tires arrive, because that wasn't in the charges in the online order.

I plan on driving in with the steelies and out with the TRDS. Don't know if they'll put them on or not? Technically the rims are made for that size tire, so I hope they do. That will really suck if they won't because everywhere else was at least $100+ more for the same setup.

Just a heads up, the TPMS sensors may from the steelies may not be compatible with the TRD wheels.

Would p265/65/r17 work on these rims? Since it appears BF Goodrich Rugged Terrain are discontinued, I am considering the Michelin LTX AT/2. Any problem with those tires on the TRD Pro rims? I currently have the wheels that come on the Gulf States Region Texas Edition but might buy some TRD rims for my 2013, ans swap them to a 3rd gen later.

Thanks man. I don't know much about wheels and tires. The 17" wheels on my 2013 have been fine, but if I decide to invest in some wheels and tires for it, I want them to be compatible with my 3rd gen when the time comes for that purchase.

265/65/17 is the stock tire size of the TRD Sport so it will transfer easily to the 17 in trd pro wheel.

OK, i've done about 300-miles since getting the K02s installed yesterday. I am ready to give my first impressions. Note that I am not brand loyal and if something bother's me about a tire, I will not hesitate to get something else.

When I first got them mounted, I told the shop (discount tire) don't even bother doing regular balancing, do road force - i'll pay extra. 3 of the 4 tires looked like they used the standard amount of weights, but one tire/wheel required slightly more than the others. I was fine with that.

Firs thing I did was head to the highway, and ran it up to 80 mph, smooth as glass. No shimmy's, no shakes. compared to the Michelin Defenders - they seemed to be only smooth on perfectly smooth roads. On certain bumpy roads, you'll see some shimmy on the Michelins. The K02s were smooth on any road I threw at them.

As for HWY road noise, I would say that they are on par with the Michelins (which is pretty incredible since that's an HT tire) Steering feel is nice and tight (unlike the Yoko Geolandars) If I didn't know what tires were on my truck, I would not have guessed these are aggressive A/T tires. They are that smooth. About the only noise that is louder than my previous tires is if you roll down the window and ride up next to a K-wall - then you'll hear the tires, but it's not bad.

The feel of the tires is very nice. When hitting bumps in the road, it's not a direct to cab/steering wheel feel. You can tell the tires absorb a bit of the shock, and that makes them very high quality feeling. On road handling is excellent. Not much floaty feel. Very solid.

I think i'll stick with these for a while.

Anyone running 275 70 17 on their stock off-road suspension on these TRD 17x7 wheels without any issues, CMC or trimming?

I just purchased the TRD 17x7 wheels and I know 265 70 fit just fine but I was curious with slightly bigger tires.

I assume you have no mudguards installed?

I've been considering that size but tire choice is very limited.
