    I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
    I know this is extreme for a DD but a lot of people will shave the drain plug right off if they are having a problem. They either cut it right out or put the bolt in tight and cut the ring and head right off then burn in a piece of 1/4" plate on the bottom of the diff to completely seal up the drain permanently and reinforce the dif. When it's time to change fluid they loosen up the carrier nuts (switch out bottom 2 studs for bolts ) and drain the dif that way.

    Haha the biggest thing I noticed about my 35's and no flares is the pain I feel in the rain when the water and specs of gravel get kicked up into my arm hanging out the window.
