    VVVV this. I have a few around me that always have toyotas, plus I have a buddy that owns a body shop so he always calls me whenever he sees a tacoma in any of the local yards.

    @Sub-Zero @cynicalrider
    "Nice" carnage. Makes me a bit less disappointed I wasn't able to go. Worn out stock suspension, zero experience, and no 4WD is not a good mix. I'll have to get at least one of those corrected before I do something I don't quite trust myself doing. Not really about to say 'fuck it' and potentially ruin my only vehicle because I can't into wheeling.

    True. Hadn't considered it. But pretty much no one here knows me because I rarely post, so why would they wanna take me along? Plus, I had work. Not so fond of taking time off because we're already disgustingly understaffed as it is right now. Plus, I have family who just got in from Europe, so I can't take too much time off anyway.

    With money, tools and know-how. I'm lacking in at least two of those.

    LOL, well if you bust your shit up at rausch there's always someone there to help that is knowledgeable. Hell I was the first one I know that broke a front diff in the 2nd gen and had to figure out how to drive home close to 3 hrs. Couple innovative thoughts after many beers and all is good.

    Seems you've got a lot more faith in yourself than I do in myself. Everything I do, I have to research ahead of time because I know fuckall about most automotive shit. That's why my 4WD still isn't fixed.

    I ended up with a co-pilot that I had just met. Most of us are cool dudes, and I for one would gladly have you ride shotgun

    Well that's mighty nice of ya. I always assume people cbf to deal with noobs. Especially when it comes to car culture. They're usually very cliquey and unwelcoming, at least around here. I guess it's a bit different with truck guys though.
