I would get knee deep in that ass and make them eat crow. To me it seems like they are going to be refunding your money on the alignment

Hmm, well this is a 3 year unlimited alignment. Maybe they would refund that but I highly doute it. I would ask for a free oil change but of course I don't trust them for that.

I can't tonight. I just googled it and the only ones I saw like yours were because of bent tabs.

Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed that. If it's the same on both sides it looks like the tech didn't have a clue about what he was doing.

The alignment cams are eccentric and start long part at the top.

Looks like they were not torqued properly, and possibly not installed correctly as well. Take it back to the shop and give them a chance to make it right. I the manager of the shop needs address the issue as to why it happened for one, and they owe you what you've paid for. Imagine going 70mph down the interstate and your LCA falling out of your frame...

Ok, the problem has been fixed. Although I have not had a chance to drive it yet to test it. (I will on lunch) I had no way to get the truck to them this morning before work which is only 2 miles away. I called and spoke with the manager and explained the situation, he sent 2 guys to come pick the truck up. First they tightened the bolt up (which were lose) then they took it back to the shop to recheck the alignment. It is now sitting back in the parking lot waiting for me to test drive on lunch. :fingerscrossed:

On a side note my truck looks really good rolling down the street:thumbsup:

Super Swamper Boggers. I bet there are some loose nuts and bolts on that ride.

Just wanna give a shout out and kudos to Brian ( @TacoAlaMode ). I was at his house last night for about 4 hours basically watching him work hard on my grill for my 4runner. Only thing I did was get it cut and prepped for him. He plastic welded and filled in all my gaps for me ...I will have to take some pics tonight since I completely forgot last night. I will have a good mock up tonight hopefully with my lights mounted and the grill mounted just for style and looks for now. Still have to get my mesh ordered and installed but just wanted to take a quick minute to give Brian some much deserved thanks!

I'm going to be exploring the Talladega National Forest service roads/4wd trails on 08/26 and 08/27 if anyone wants to join me.

I have been working with @travhale come up with some trails to explore and will have them loaded into my tablet. Right now I have over 40 miles of roads/trails I want to cover and I know that I will for sure cover both 600-1 and 600-2 but plan on shooting off those roads to explore a lot of the dirt roads/4wd trails around the Adams gap area if time allows.

This will be my first time wheeling in the forest but I have been there more than a few times backpacking.

I plan on starting the day at 0900 at the intersection of Bull Gap Rd and Chapman Rd then spending the day making my way north and camping at the state park Friday night. I have booked campsite P145 down by Cheaha Lake if anyone is also interested in camping at the park.

So far I'm planning on doing a solo trip just me and the dog but any TW members are more than welcome to come along. I'm not sure if I will do any exploring on Saturday or just head home at this time, but if we have a group I'd be down for staying in the area Saturday day too.

    Starting point on 08/26 @0900

If we have enough people who want to join me I will make a separate thread just for the trip.
