Getting there. 8 more tubes and that sucker can drop through the floor to weld up. Probably a good solid month left on it.

I need that time. Just wanna make sure you don't get all motivated when parts show up.

I'm down for that. Too much working on that truck makes me crazy if I don't get out.

I would not stand for that shit! Go on the hunt until you find that monitor and take it right off their desk as they're using it.

Tore the rear of the runner apart to do wheel seal and shoes. Noticed bearings are shot. Purchased said bearings and seals etc and asked Toyota if they would press them on the axle for me. Figure what, and hour tops right? Nope, quoted me 4 hours at $125/hr... I laughed hard enough for people to stare. Told the guy I could go buy a press for less than that and I left... I'm supposedly out of town this week lol. So I can't go use the press at my shop. Sumbitch

She's stripped bare now and apparently my dog enjoys gear oil. Pretty sure that's not good for him

I had the same fucking problem on mine. $100 alone for the seal. What I ended up doing was taking the drum/axle shaft thing (I don't know what the whole thing is called but I'm sure you know what I'm talking about since you took it off) throwing it in the back of the Tundra and taking it to a shop to get pressed. Was an hour labor (what bs that is. Probably took them 20 mins) and another $100 out the door. Did manage to save like 3 hours labor though which was good. Still the most expensive job I've ever had to do on mine though other than the head gasket

Edit: Third most expensive job* had to replace my entire A/C system because previous owner was an idiot and removed the low side hose, ruining the old system. What a pain :annoyed:
