They best thing they can do now is take the feedback of players and community members, COMMUNICATE WITH THEM, and figure out how to fix what is broken.

 

I didn't play Ingress but people said when Ingress started Niantic was horrible with the community.

At that time Niantic's excuse was they were small and didn't realize how popular Ingress would be.

They can't really use the "we didn't know Pokemon would be so popular" line.

 

Such a shitty b-list movie that I love.

 

I really hope Nintendo takes it from them and works on it. Niantic is getting shafted from iTunes and Google Play with users asking for refunds that are being approved.

 

There is serious money to be made here. They just need to listen to the community to keep the player base alive and well and then treat pokestops and gyms like sponsors.

 

Of course there's money to be made. And they are trying to capitalize on it by making the pokemon harder to catch, thus forcing the player to buy pokeballs from the shop.

 

I wonder what the price is going to be to buy/rent gyms and pokestops.

Best explanation of the new tracker that I've read:

PokémonGO is supposed to be a go out and be social game. The new tracker will still let you know when a Pokémon shows up near you.

The way the new tracker is set up is with a large group in mind.

You're supposed to walk 20 men abreast with 6 feet between each person. When your line comes upon a Pokémon everyone wants, your 20 person line is supposed to rotate in a large circle until one person finds the Pokémon.

So PokémonGO out there and form a small army before capturing Pokémon.
