Then you're covered, that's all you need, you're on the right track.

I much rather trust the factory to correctly deliver my transmission with the required ATF level, and checked again at the port, and check again at the dealer, than a dealer tech who may or may not have factory training from two years back, and me being a Ginnie pig.

No offense meant to anyone here who has had it done, but it's just my observations based on my experience and some of the same hundreds of posting here.
But that's just me, to each his own

    Hope that helps
    Cheers!

You don't have to worry about me, my vehicles are if traded and not passed down in perfect running condition.
Moreover, the economy needs ppl like you to buy new.

    Hope that helps
    Cheers!

Just like every Forum needs their Village Idiot. Don't worry, it's a term of endearment....

Ah, so you're the village idiot, but I had already gathered that from but a small sample of some 3k of your baseless posts.
But it's perfectly understandable as the voices you hear on your head must be driving you to obsession enough to want to be here 24/7 and troll to some well over 3k posts.

Hope you get some help soon. :/

    Hope that helps
    Cheers!

My truck was found to be ~two quarts low on fluid. If your engine was two quarts low on oil and you had an engine failure, I bet that warranty wouldn't be looking so good. The factory was (or is) not filling these trucks correctly. The advisor I worked with yesterday said the day before they had one which was 1.5 quarts low, but mine was among the worst. Your warranty doesn't last forever, so running with low fluid may cause wear/tear which can manifest itself outside of warranty, more quickly than if it was properly filled. The fluid doesn't only lubricate and act as means to apply pressure to various clutches/bands, it also cools the transmission. Ever had a low charge of Freon in an A/C system? Ever had only a few inches of water in the pool? Ever tried to take a shower with only dripping water? It doesn't work as intended.

Knowledge is power, whether you choose to act on that is your own business. Pretending there isn't a possible issue, seems a little odd. The advisor told me they have checked and adjusted fluid levels on many 16 Tacomas. If the owner doesn't bring it in and ask, they are not going to do that for the fun of it.
