Thanks for the detailed write up.
Do the fog lights cut out when high beams are selected ? This is a requirement for some state inspections.
I read somewhere the power has to come off of the fuse block that is for the fog lights to do this rather than tapping off a 12v point (battery).
    Thanks.

This is how the factory is wired on earlier years cutting fogs off when high beams are selected. Many states will fail inspection if they don't. I am not sure if there are any that allow it.

Another useful resource for older model reference. Look at page 327 (15 of 60) for fog/headlamps.

    http://www.customtacos.com/tech.old...06toyewd/06toypdf/ewd/2006/tacoma/m/em01d.pdf

Looks like they are driving the relay coil off the low beam voltage rather than a hot +12.

Anyone know where the 2016 wiring is ???

I didn't pull dash cover off. Connect green harness to fog light switch. Push wires through hole first. Then push fog light switch in until it locks in place.

Getting the wire through the firewall is no easy task, that was the hardest part for me. Everything else was pretty straight forward!

Why ? Interference, tight? Did you slick up the wire ?

I stuck it through next to the hood latch which was an extremely tight fit. I taped it to a piece of clothes hanger wire for more rigidity, but every time I pulled it through the tape just popped right off. I ended up getting it through enough to juuuuust barely grab it from the other side using some needle nose pliers.

Please forgive what may be an obvious answer but do you need to remove the grill to replace the lights or do you come in from the front fender wells? I have new Baja Design lights coming so this is my first mod.

You can access the lights through the wheel wells. You will need to pull back the black fender liner where it connects to the front bumper. Clearance can be tight depending on the angle. Full bumper removal not required.

    Thank You,
    Bailey, Baja Designs

I reached in from the top of the engine compartment.
Lights remove from front. Reach in engine compartment and push in clips that hold black bezel in from front.
Then remove lights from front, 1 screw invloved.

It's easier if you pull the grille, about 2 mins and you can have it out and have super easy access!

This is for fog lights now, not headlights.
Why would you pull the grill.
    The fogs are below it.
    They install from the front.
