Had to run by the grocery store after my workout this morning. Pulled in to the parking lot and saw a Vulpix on my nearby (the shadow, I still didn't have one yet). So I drove around about a 200m search area and couldn't find it. It fell off my nearby so I gave up and went to the store.

Pissed.

Left the store and decided to cross the street to a yellow level 3 gym that only had 2 pokies so I could add 1 to it. As soon as I pulled out the Vulpix popped up. Still wasn't on my nearby. It was weak, but pokedex stat pad!



Then a geodude popped up on my nearby. I've caught a bunch of those but never seen them in my area (caught them all in Vegas). I drove around and couldn't find it anywhere

But in my search I hatched this guy



I've also now got 2 vapes on gyms. Just need to last until noon so I can collect

Had a growlithe on my nearby when I got back to my neighborhood but couldn't find it. Haven't seen them around here before. Seems these nest changes have really happened. I did catch a 96 Magmar on my street that wasn't on my nearby. Super weak, but I'll take the candies for my 1100 one I got the other day.

 

Anyone else have this issue?

I leave the game open at work and spin pokestops. Sometimes, I'll get an error message saying to try again later even though the stop is blue. These stops won't even have a lure on them. When I log out and log back in, I'll see both stops have lures and pokemon awaiting to dodge my pokeballs. It's almost like the game app doesn't update with the server.

 

Never seen the lure issue but I'll have blue pokestops say "try again later" sometimes. When it says that I usually can't spin it, the little disc will just barely move left or right. It's usually when they just switched from purple to blue, almost like I hit it just a tad too early. Usually just clicking out of it and then back on it fixes it and I can spin it again. I don't have to leave the app...

 

I have had the "try again later" message and when I exit the app and come back it says I hit the pokestop already. But haven't notice that second part

 

I swear it's like my app stops receiving updates from the server. So if someone dropped a lure, I wouldn't know until I logged off and on.

 

Does the little white ball spin? Anytime I am missing server updates the ball just spins and spins. Pokies won't pop up but I cant still hit stops

 

Nope. No spinning in the corner of the screen. The pokestop images load normally as well, and I'm able to easily check out other gyms.

Playing golf later today. I don't remember it logging many kms for me last time I played but I'll give it another shot. I also caught a Dratini on one of the greens the other day (I parked my truck and ran over to it) so hopefully another one will pop up. I'm about 800pts away from level 19 so I'm hoping it gets me enough to level up. I'm about half way done collecting pidgeys for my mass evolve that will hopefully get me to 21 and I can start catching some big boys like ya'll have been seeing

Noob city over here, just hit level 7. Hit the gym by work the other day, got beat down hard. Have yet to see anything good, but I guess that's to be expected being this low.
