I feel like I could start training folks now, with no 'certifications' and I have to some extent. Both my neighbors workout with me and we spend most of the time focusing on them and working on their technique and how they can get better. I think for me to go to the next level though I would need something for a complete stranger to be able to look at and say, yeah this guy is legit I'll choose him. Sure, I could probably due that through marketing but like I said, I want something to separate me from the hundreds of other people who work out and think they know it all too. I also think I can learn a lot from doing a course.

Bulking is just an excuse to get fat and still workout...

I've never bulked and I have gone from 150 to 175 at my heaviest. I'm now floating around 167 but my body fat has always stayed between 9-12% since I originally hit my goal of <10% (I started at 150 around 15%BF ~5yrs ago when I was skin and bones and could barely lift the bar).

There is a lot to proper diet techniques, working out. When to go to failure, when to go for more reps yadda yadda. If you don't have a lot of experience with a lot of people I would take a class. More importantly, get insurance.

Might be picking up a Samsung Note 7. I had decided on the galaxy series but decided to wait to see this phone released. Looks like you get a gear fit2 when purchased. While the reviews are all over the place for it, it looks like you can hook up Bluetooth headphones and run a simplified Spotify app from it. That would be nice to have in the gym and on runs...

If I were you, as others have said, I would try something like a recomp opposed to bulking since your're scared about getting fat. A recomp is basically where you eat maintenance calories, so there's no risk of putting on extra mass, neither fat nor muscle. The benefit of recomping is that your body converts its fat to muscle over a long period of time. For instance, you will stay at 220 lbs, but over a 4 month period, you may go from 20 to 15% bf. It's a slow process, but it has been shown to work.

I shed fat very easily, so I still like to bulk and cut. Also, growing up 140 lbs, I don't get freaked out by being fat in the winter.

So true. This dude at my gym started selling roids recently and has gotten a few of my friends to take them and the guy selling nor my friends know what the fuck they're doing. One of my friends did a cycle and is still weak as fuq and looks no different. I tried to tell him 100 times how to eat, when to take them, what to do afterwards, etc. and he didn't listen. He started having blood pressure issues and started getting roid rage and I told my wife THAT is exactly why that shit gets such a bad rep. I've been researching the shit for 4+ years and still haven't taken the plunge (mainly b/c the wife won't let me and it's illegal :pout: ).

Same. I weighed in at 194 this morning. Every time I lose a pound, I measure my arms to make sure they're not shrinking :anonymous:

Had a pretty good push day, took a little longer than usual because I got stuck talking to a guy who showed up in a turd gen and he commented on my Biclops tank...

    OH BB Press
Reverse Grip Incline bench>Decline push ups
    OH tri ext
    Close grip DB press
    Svend press
    Dips

Was going to do more triceps but couldn't decide if tri press downs were a push or pull movement. Given that I refer to them as "press" downs I would assume it's a push but I've seen them called pull downs before too and being a cable movement I feel like it's a pull too :notsure:

Since you're pushing the weight/handle away from you id say it's a push. Most if not all triceps are pushes and biceps are pulls

 we give everyone that goes to one of the gyms here shit because t seems like EVERYONE there is on gear. And they all deny it, even though they went from fat to jacked in like 6 months. We say they give out a free cycle with every new membership. Well...a girl that goes up there posted this today

I really thought about tagging one of the guys that you can tell has been on them the most and be like "hey man, did you forget something???"

Went and got fitted for a suit for my sisters wedding. Gotta love it when the guy says you'd be best getting a custom suit done. Had to order the pants in a 36 waist just to fit my butt and thighs into them. Gunna have to get the waist taken in to a 34. All kinds of quad gainzz
