GM made the choice on what to market. If they had better, they should have shown better. I wasn't really there to see the GM product. I was there to see the new Taco's.

I think the interior on the 3rd gen tacomas blows the Chevys out of the water. I find most domestic interiors are so cheap looking. The fit and finish is garbage on them. The interior on the taco is different but in a good way and was definitely a huge selling point for me.

Tacoma should not even be in that chart, it`s a midsize truck

The fact that it`s number 5 speaks for itself, Tacoma leads it`s class and has for a very long time.

I dunno man, those Chevys and GMCs are pretty plush these days. Their seats and creature comforts are way better than my 2nd gen.... So the interior on the 3rd gen must be pretty dang nice.

Still selling like hotcakes I see.

I finally saw one in the wild the other day (and there was one on display at Costco the same day), and man alive, they are one bizarre looking vehicle. I mean, they may be fine, but coming up behind me, it was hard to tell it wasn't an Odyssey van until I saw the bed.

I had a look on the pickuptrucks.com website and saw that for the past 3 months of 2016 the Tacoma sales were down compared to the 2015 sales year. With a mid year price increase a while ago and a potential increase of $460-$1345 for the 2017 year I wonder are they happy to sell less trucks for more money? Anyone looking at the 4 door SR5 has a good value will get the biggest sticker shock I believe.

Interior on Tacoma is nicer than the GM twins. Butt dyno felt better driving the GM twins, IMO.

I like that dated feeling......like 20 years dated is fine with me.
I'd miss mah Big gulp rated spill containment system though.

Looks like the new Ridgeline will pass the new Titan, next month, in YTD sales.

Also, Ridgeline may soon beat Canyon in monthly sales next month, and YTD sales, next year.

I am not a Ridgeline fan, but I was surprised they sold apx. 2500 units in June, and 3500 in July.

Those numbers aren't very impressive considering it's brand new and a Honda, IMO. 3-4k was about what I expected once the demand settled.

What I'm really shocked by are those Titan numbers. I knew they didn't sell well, but damn. I don't know why they even continue making it.

Yes, but in all fairness if someone is here researching a potential buy then they should join Tacomaworld and feel free to post.

When I was deciding to buy my truck, I joined Tacomaworld and one of the Nissan Frontier sites to see what owners thought of their trucks, issues people were having and to ask a few questions.

I have to say that the user community on Tacomaworld is very large and for the issues I've since had with my truck, I have largely found DIY fixes for on these forums. It does not reflect on the truck or Toyota's build quality but to me a big + to buying a Tacoma is the help you can get on these forums.

Yea, no shit. When I saw the price increases I was wondering WTF. It just appeared to me that they were going to make the appearance package standard and charge for it. Whatever. I was hoping they'd break the moon-roof out as a separate option so you could get one with the SR5 but it's not looking like that is going to happen.

I know a lot of people here hate moon-roofs, but a lot of us don't and want one. I would be perfectly happy with a 4x4 SR5 DC V6 with a moon-roof and tow package.
