I enjoy detailing mine too. Then I remember my drive way is 1/4 mile long dirt road...

Better than mine.... I got a mile and a half of limerock and dirt to get through before i even hit my dirt driveway LOL

When someone drives down the road when it hasnt rained in a couple days all you can see is a big dust cloud behind you. When its pouring rain, which is often this time of year in florida, you get mud EVERYWHERE. Im talking the entire roof and bed of the truck will have mud on it.

But i love living in the woods.... So it is what it is... My black wheels and tires have been cleaned a total of about 3 times in the last 5 months. Too much work to only last until i drive it once. Truck being white hides the dust a lot better, so i wash it more often... I just skip the wheels, tires, running boards, mud flaps ect.

Hey All I need some serious help. I goofed up big time!

I had superglued a couple things yesterday and thought they were dry and left them on my passenger seat over night (cause I was taking them to work today). Well I guess they weren't?! Now I have what appear to be stains from the fumes (I don't see any shiny or whitish glue residue) on my seat. I have cloth seats.

I already posted on the Ask a Detailer thread but thought I'd take my chances here.

How do I removed the stain without damaging the seat?!?! Any recommendations???

I am super upset cause it's my brand new truck and I seriously feel like an idiot for leaving it there.

    Thank you!!!!

Do you recall which lock you purchased? Looks like there are 2 models with different bolt size/thread and RentlessFab's website doesn't specify theirs details.

    Hi-Lift VERS-LK Versatile Locking Knob
Fits 1/2 inch bolt, 13 thread

    OR

Hi-Lift HM-LK Hood Mount Locking Knob

Fits 3/8 inch bolt, 16 thread

    Thanks!

I agree. It is a nice truck but thats $12k more than mine but it is 4 x 4. The blacked lights can be bought after market. The grille will be available. LED fogs are available. The shocks and springs are readily available. Clazzio leather is cheap and readily available. The black hood scoop tape is available. And mine already has a 2" wider stance. Where is all the extra money going. Profit maybe. Not seeing the price difference over a similar Off Road version. Yeah I think I will spend that money somewhere else.

^ my thoughts exactly. I have basically cloned the PRO with my build(besides parts not yet available; shift knob, fogs, seats, etc) and I actually like it better AND saved money.

Edit: the ONLY selling feature for me is the exclusive color paint that matches the sidewalk.

I looked at and like the AFE but I only paid $200 instead of over $400. I always had success with K & N. Nothing wrong with AFE if you want to pay for it. I am more hoping to regain a little of the mpg I lost with the tranny TSB than a hp jump. And I do like the sound. Truck sounds good though.

Yeah that's why I posted this. Heard some bad things about acetone. Hoping someone has dealt with this before and has a magical solution.

Just bought BBP and used this method, only thing is the damn solvent burned into my clear leaving drip lines all the way down the side of the door. It's more noticeable in the shade. Did you get this too? This sucks

You lost mpg? How many miles since you had it done?

The first couple days mine seemed a little lower but after i refilled my gas tank everything seems normal.
