How bad do you guys think it would be to leave my fullsize spare (285/70/17) mounted under the bed if it rubs the diff? its been mounted under there for a couple months now, and it rubs the diff, enough to wear it down to shiny metal. I really would like to leave it under there.. maybe I can modify the hangers, etc to keep it away from the diff?

actually thinking I could probably just tie some paracord or the like around the tow package.. and pull the tire away from the diff..

I'd deflate the tire and ratchet strap around the tread to keep it small
