Did someone say 885 porn. My headstrong kit fit perfectly. Still need to get some really good pics. I went with stock rims, 1.25" spacers, and 285/75/16 BFG's K02's.

No UCA's on the DCSB Prerunner. Had to get the spacers cuz the tires were to close the the UCA's for comfort. About a 1/2". Then had to remove the front and back mud flaps on the front wheels. I don't get any contact with normal driving, but if i hit a driveway going to fast, or take a U turn to quick i get some rub. Guess i was one of the lucky ones.

    Thanks Marie.

No problem Marie! I was hoping to make it to that page one day! Sorry I don't have any "cooler" pictures but I live in the city haha.
YES MORE 885 PORN IS NEEDED HERE! Your truck looks great man! I love to hear about how pleased people are with this kit. Makes me know that I made the right choice. Best upgrade I've ever made to my truck.

haha yeah that was when I was getting really excited about how it looked! Everywhere I walked I just took a picture at a different angle. Did you see the before and after picture I posted? It's crazy how big of a difference it made! And the ride quality far exceeded my expectations!

Yes, definitely what he posted. I also kept my stock UCA's and everything is fine. I remember reading that if you have Double Cab, it's best to go with the 885's. Anyways, my guy kept my alignment within range and it rides perfect. No rubbing and no uneven tire wear!

I think people have had different experiences. This is where the whole "every truck is different" thing comes into play. The access cab is lighter, so in theory the lift would be a little bit higher, which may require new UCA's.
I think with the Access cab they recommend the 884's for 3" of lift. don't quote me on that. Marie@headstrongoffroad can help you out. headstrong off-road

It is always hard to say exactly how much lift you will gain from any one coil because so It is always hard to say exactly how much lift you will gain from any one coil because so many factors come into play like condition of the factory components, trim of truck, and any add-ons or additional options you may have. With that being said the OME 885 coils will provide approx. 2.5" of lift on a stock 2005-2015 double cab 4x4. If you have an access cab you may see around 1/4"-1/2" more lift and the same is true with a 2wd.

So basically 885's would look awesome on your AC. It would probably yield about the same amount of lift as mine did, which was about 3 inches, being as I'm 2wd.

so you guys haven't noticed any "clunk" noises with this setup? I've seen a few mention this issue in another thread with 885s

I have the clunk. Haven't confirmed where exactly it is coming from, but i think its the stock UCA contacting the spring when the truck rebounds after hitting a bump. I have a couple big dips near my house and it always happens if i hit them with any speed. Not on first contact with the front wheels, but as the back wheels hit the dip, and the front end lifts pretty good. I'm pretty sure this is it, because i have a contact mark on the spring.

I have seen this mentioned before. i think the guy confirmed it by jacking the front off the ground and when the suspension maxed the UCA was resting on the spring.

interesting. Starting to think the 885s are too high for stock uca and maybe even 5100s

Or just get the UCA's with your lift. That would help alleviate the problem. I plan to get them in the future.
