How much did you pay (selling price only) for your new 2016 Tacoma TRD Off Road 4WD Double Cab LB V6 Automatic w/ Tow Package?

Do you expect the 2017's to be around the same price range give or take $500?

500 over invoice which came out to about MSRP out the door--yes that includes tax (~8%), title and license, delivery fee, etc.

My truck also came with bed extender, tube steps, exhaust tip, JBL, premium & tech...basically everything except a roof rack and bed cover. I added my own plasticolor mudflaps because I prefer the rubbery floppy kind, not the stiff hard molded plastic like OEM flaps

mine was around 42 OTD (after tax, title, etc. )if I remember correctly... but I also had the Tonneau cover, predator tube steps, bed extender, and all weather floor mats adding to the base price, its didnt help that they screwed me over on my trade either ($500)

sry didn't see you asked for OR...I have the LTD 4X4

You know what. I ordered a 2017 OR fully loaded long bed which is due the end of August. I was at the dealership today to see if official pricing was out. I noticed they had a 2016 on the lot with all of the options I ordered on my 2017 except it is a short bed.

Now this has got me to thinking. Can I get by with a short bed. I suspect the dealer is willing to provide a big discount since the 2017 are on the way.

I keep going back and fourth on will this SB do the trick. You see from time to time I haul lumber and drywall not too often, but that long bed makes a difference I can still haul lumber and drywall I would just have to let down the bed door and secure it with some tie downs. With the 4 door I have some extra room in the back to haul tools.

The MSRP on that SB is 39,700 I don't have the numbers yet for the 2017 long bed. Remember both trucks have the same exact options.

I just don't want to regret my decision later on If the dealer is willing to give me a outstanding deal on that SB it would be tempting It would have to be one hell of a deal though like around 36,000.

    Any advice

I had the same sort of scenario. I have my 2017 ordered and scheduled to arrive at the end of August as well, and found a comparable 2016 on the lot already. When I went to see if they would be willing to negotiate me a deal for the 16' they were less than willing. They told me since tacomas are in such high demand they never end up going for more than a couple hundred below the MSRP on them and weren't in any kind of hurry to offload the 2016's. When I found that out I decided I could just wait the month and get the exact truck that I wanted instead.

Obviously depends where you live but if you're in AZ you can get several thousand off of MSRP. I did and I know others who have as well. If you're in CA sometimes it's just a matter of willingness to take a road trip....

I passed up a deal on a 2016 TRD OR AC with premium pkg., TC cover and other accessories; MSRP was 37233, I was offered a price of 35000 plus tax and 275 for tags. Maybe I should have done that deal. :frusty:

Something else that plays into pricing. The dealership I am dealing with is an large volume Tacoma dealer. Currently they have 13 2016 on the lot and their 2017 are on the way. They told me last month their first allocation of 2017 will be 15 With that said, you know they want to clear their lot for these 2017. I am told if you wait toward the end of the month dealers are more willing to cut prices especially if new shipments are incoming Like smitty says it depends on where you are located.

    My 16 TRD sport , msrp 38,450.
    I paid invoice, 36k.

I can get a 17 TRD off road, 500$ over invoice. Or Pro 500$ off msrp.

Don't we already have a "how much did you pay" thread?

But to answer the question, I paid $37k (before all the extra rape) for a TRDOR DCSB w/ premium tech+JBL, all weather mats, and tint. After I was done getting raped, it was $40.5k OTD.

I probably paid the early adopters fee too....got the truck in Oct, 2015.

    Yes.

We should have a thread for "how much you SOLD your 2016 Tacoma for," as I believe we have 8-9 already sold on here, and about 10-12 16s going to get traded on the 17 Pro on this forum alone.

Be advised, it looks to be official that the 2017 will come standard with power rear window. If that matters to you or not. View the pdf in this thread for changes.

The prices are released. Dealer should be able to give you an exact OTD price now.
