    I have a full size .45. Too big for carry unless you are a really big dude but otherwise I really like it as far as polymer pistols are concerned. When I bought it I hadn't realized that the caliber change kits weren't compatible with the .45 though so I missed the boat there haha

    Isn't that supposed to change in the somewhat near future?

    Honestly I don't know. I haven't kept up with it since the price of the caliber change kits is nearly the price of a whole new gun. Hopefully that changes soon too.

    I know this is a couple weeks gone by, however I carry a Shield in 9mm. It conceals very well, you (as the beast of burden) can tell its there but not nearly as obvious as a full size 1911.

    I was recently at a shooting clinic and for amusement we were shooting handguns at our steel @ 200yd.
    I was quite supprised by the accuracy of the sub compact.

    We have small square's cut out at both ends of the shed and we shoot through it!:infantry:

    Naaaa! Just kidding! But I could see where it looks like that. That is my shoot shed where we keep everything. That's my neighbor, a retired LEO, I try to stay out of pictures.

    I stack the sights, the front is about a 1/16" above the top of the rear notch. I shoot my 1911 out to 200 meters frequently on an 8" flasher we call mr skullhead.

    @P2W Out of curiousity, what position were you in shooting at that length? I've only tried prone for long distances, and it drives you to focus on all the fundamentals. If you get them right, it's impressive how far out you can be accurate.

    I shoot standing on the bigger targets, seated using knees for support or from the bench using my ruck on the smaller targets.

    At 200m it helps to have a good spotter as well.

    @JDM
    The closest berm is 25yd, second is 50yd, third is 100yd and fourth is 200yd.

    If, on the extreme off-chance that this is in New Hampshire, please let me pay you so I can shoot there.

    Not quite NH but we do get a number of folks from CT & NY that come down to PA to shoot with us.
