    Got my Softopper on today.
Got it Monday, but I had defective snaps. They got new canvas to me in 2 days!
I just have to send the defective one back, but they didn't send a return shipping label.

I had a Backflip on my truck before this. I got it for free from a friend. He bought it, had a slight defect (Small dent in one panel from a D ring standing up during shipping), and when he got a new one, they told him to keep it. He gave it to me, all I had to do was locate a frame.
On the truck for 3 years. Ended up leaking, panels were waterlogged and weighed about 80 pounds. I've had it off the truck since monday and water is still leaking out.
    Glad I didn't pay a G-Note for it.
Anywho, Heres the Softopper. Still have to fine tune it.

I was a Scoutmaster and District Chairman for 9 years, best times I've ever had. Nothing more fun than going camping with a bunch of young boys. My son made it to Life Scout, 3 badges and Eagle project short at 18. Is very odd seeing boys I knew since they were 7-8 years old now married some with families.

:notsure: haven't looked yet. Been busy.

It uses virtually no water and I want a little more. Not as much as the old front loaders, but more than it uses now

 welcome oldman52. Don't let us scare you off. A great bunch of folks in here and about the best thread on TW.

Well, I almost took them off last year when I lifted the FJ and put KO2's on. I wanted the 4Runner TRD Pro wheels, but the price was a bit on the high side for 5 of them.

i'll try this again since my text didn't show up. Christie hasn't had to clean house or cook more than a couple of meals in the 4 months since i've been off. i have her dinner waiting on her with a clean kitchen when she gets home. and i've enjoyed it

    Afternoon everyone !!

Didn't like how my garage looked so went and did another massive field day on it . This time I like it alot better , bought four garage style shelving units with (5) shelfs ea and placed them where I needed them . Now all the crap is off the ground and it looks much cleaner

Got rid of the cheap 3' fluorescent fixture and in its place some nice "daylight " LED fixtures in its place and now much brighter . These new lights are bright enough now to throw shadows LOL!!

Now I'm back inside with the AC set at 68 degrees enjoying a tasty cold adult beverage

Very nice. How hard to install and remove? Do you leave it on or just use when needed?

i'm going to leave it on. Takes about an hour to install, and I took my time. Removal is simple. This is similar to a top on a boat with the bows. Undo the straps/snaps and it folds up. Remove a retaining clip at the pivot at the bed rails, and the whole thing comes off, or leave it folded up in the front of bed. Still have to fine tune it when I get a chance.
