100% love my truck and would definitely buy again. My only regret is I wish I had got the Technology package with sunroof and heated seats.

I got the package (didn't think I wanted it, but it was the only manual I could find w/o special ordering) and I love it. I definitely would miss that stuff if it wasn't there now.

I'm from Singapore, this Taco would cost between $65K to $80K and people would kill to have one of these park in their driveway, if they could even get one. Wish I can have two, one here and one there.

Yes I would and the reasons why.

After looking at pickups and campers for 18 mo +/- and after FINALLY deciding on the camper http://www.lancecamper.com/travel-trailers/1475/ I could focus on the pick up with appropriate tow capacities. My Lance has 400lb TW and 3300+/- GVW camp ready. I wanted to stay at 75% or lower than published capacities of the TV .

FS Ford/GM: Out because of the oil vapor build up on the intake valves due to them being Direct injected and is just a DI issue in general. Ford double whammy because of valve cleaners like a BG service can melt down the turbos due to the high levels of unburned hydrocarbons being sent to them during the cleaning process. Yes I know about catch cans.

Dodge.... well its French. Really, just not a Dodge fan and the closest dealer just sucked.

GM twins: A lot of interest in them and really liked the possibility of a diesel BUT dealing with the current VW TDI fiasco ( 2012 Golf TDI Manual) leaves a sour taste and I drive a class 8 Ready Mix truck with the DEF ( Panther Piss ) systems and they have their issues. Trust me. Current diesel emissions tech is kind of where cars where in the 80s. It has a lot of maturing to do.

The Yoda was the only game in town with at least a part time Port Injection system to get some fuel onto the back of the intake valves and best of all.... a MANUAL transmission.

I must have gotten a truck made after the pep talk and bonuses where handed out at the factory as I have had none of the issues so prevalent on these forums.

Just turned 8,000 mi this week and have towed about 2,000 of that since the middle of April. Ya, sometimes I have to run some RPMs up a hill but so what. That is where the power is so I go get it. :burnrubber:
