I'd probably get a Raptor if a full-size would fit in my garage but it won't. So I'm getting the most badass mid-size I can (Pro) :)

My guess is they'll be going for more like $48K to $50K by the time you get OTD.

My truck was just over $39K OTD. And that was before wheels/tires/grill/clazzios/etc.

Thats the starting.... the automatic trans ones are $43xxx ouch! no wonder I bought a Tundra instead of another Tacoma, my TRD offroad Tundra 5.7L crewmax was less!

I'd think one could do a lot more to my loaded TRD OR with the $10K saved vs. buying a TRD PRO -- of course that probably wouldn't fix the driveline vibes, rear differential and leaf springs issues.

39k tops is what I would pay with the auto. In '02 when I was in the market, I wanted a Taco but could not justify buying it over the AC Tundra which was actually cheaper and better appointed.

Yeah its ridiculous for a Tacoma, and thats without all of the dealer fees and them trying to market them as "highly desired" or "rare".

So you're saying a PRO should be as much as a loaded TRD Offroad? Never going to happen.

If the Pro was as cheap as you all want them to be, everyone would be driving them.

With the high price of the 2017 TRD Pro, the jack up in price on the 2017 SR5, Toyota's lack of incentives, the fact that Tacoma sales were down in July, and a slumping North American economy - I see a trend in Tacoma sales.

Come on Toyota....I want to believe.

its a quality v. quantity decision.

always has been with bigger cars v. smaller cars since the VW beetle.
